Frequent Questions

How often are RadNet’s near-real-time air monitoring data updated on the EPA website?

RadNet near-real-time air data are refreshed hourly during business hours, Monday through Friday. This hourly refresh ensures that the most up-to-date data are available for the last 24 hours. Additionally, two times per day data from the last 7 days are refreshed.

During weekend, non-peak hours, RadNet near-real-time data from the last month are queried and refreshed.

Near-real-time air data older than 30 days are not refreshed on a regular schedule. Any amendments made to data older than 30 days are not currently shown on the RadNet website. We are working to fix this known issue. Note that changes to data older than 30 days are rare and do not affect the long-term radiation trends RadNet was designed to monitor.
