Frequent Questions

What is a deployable monitor and how is it different from RadNet stationary monitors?

A deployable monitor is portable and can be set up in any location as needed. RadNet deployable monitors send both weather data and average gamma exposure rates to EPA's National Analytical Radiation Environmental Laboratory (NAREL). The deployable monitors do not measure beta radiation and use slightly different air sampling equipment.
